GetMehndi ("we", "us") operates the GetMehndi mobile app and getmehndi.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
Information we collect
- Account data — email, display name, and profile photo via Firebase Authentication (email, Google, or Apple sign-in).
- App activity — saved designs, private likes, AI generation preferences, and credit balances stored on our Cloudflare backend.
- Photos you upload — try-on images are processed on your device; we do not permanently store raw hand photos on our servers unless you explicitly save generated content.
- Device & diagnostics — standard mobile OS logs; we do not sell personal data.
Advertising (AdMob)
We use Google AdMob to show banner and rewarded video ads. Google may collect advertising identifiers and usage data per Google's Privacy Policy. You can limit ad tracking in your device settings.
In-app purchases
Credit packs are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We receive purchase tokens to validate transactions and grant credits; we do not receive your payment card details.
How we use data
- Provide feed, save, try-on, and AI generation features
- Manage weekly AI credits and purchased credit packs
- Improve reliability and prevent abuse (rate limits, moderation)
- Respond to support requests
Data storage & security
Account and app data are stored on Cloudflare (D1, R2, Workers) with Firebase Authentication for identity. Images are served via CDN with watermarks. Sensitive screens use platform screenshot protections where available.
Retention
Saved designs available offline expire after 7 days on device. Server-side saves follow your account lifecycle. You may request deletion by contacting us.
Your rights
Depending on your region, you may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data. Email support@getmehndi.com.
Children
GetMehndi is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date.
